Hintersee – Kalkofen – Magdalenengrotte – Zauberwald, ca. 6.6 km / 200 elevation gain/loss
Starting from CVJM Hintersee, we will take a path behind the Antoniuskapelle which takes us first 70 m uphill to a lime kiln, then slowly descends to a panoramic point with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We will continue uphill to the Magdalen Grotto, well-hidden in the rock, and then downhill to the lake Hintersee. After a walk across the Zauberwald (enchanted forest), one of the most beautiful and certified geotopes of Bavaria, we will return along the lake to the CVJM.
